CALLUP, a provider of Value Added Services (VAS) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for the telecom industry, today announced Roam Home Callback, a seamless, low-cost, complementary roaming service, mimicking a normal call experience. The solution will be launched at the Mobile World Congress, to be held March 2-5, 2015 in Barcelona, Spain, and will be displayed at CALLUP’s booth (Hall 5, Stand 5D81).

The solution seamlessly captures a callback call and optimizes it by mimicking an outgoing call, while using the existing USSD callback call. In addition, when the subscriber is roaming, Roam Home Callback can route the call from a circuit switch network to IP. A patented algorithm verifies that the IP network quality allows it and can sustain an excellent user experience. Server mechanisms ensure the sender’s validity and authenticity, enabling acceptance of messages from Wi-Fi/Internet over HTTPS.

Roam Home Callback uses native dialer over the phone. It is 100% seamless to the user and does not require any special action by him. The user maintains a regular dialer user experience.

The solution includes a detailed logger that enables easy troubleshooting and problem investigation. An Over the Air (OTA) client configuration server can remotely control client configuration. Multiple configuration profiles are supported.
